Trades Union – Sydney Office
A versatile space designed for collaboration and efficiency
The Trades Union required a versatile office, training, and conference space for 62 staff in Pyrmont. The design aimed to support various work functions while fostering collaboration, comfort, and a sense of community across the space.
The challenge was to design a dynamic and flexible environment that could accommodate diverse activities, from office tasks to training sessions and conferences, while ensuring each space promoted both collaboration and comfort.
TCW supplied a comprehensive furniture solution that maximized function, comfort, and aesthetics. For the breakout areas, Butterfly and Chilli+ Lime tables from Luxmy, paired with Urban chairs, helped create bright, welcoming spaces that encouraged relaxation and informal meetings. In the workspace, Markant MO-X desks and Scenarios storage solutions were arranged in efficient back-to-back clusters, with integrated cable management to support ergonomic work. For agile meeting and training spaces, Thinking Works I.AM folding tables were incorporated, featuring linking devices and simple folding mechanisms to offer flexibility for various configurations, promoting a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The Trades Union office now provides a dynamic and adaptable space that encourages collaboration and supports a wide range of work activities. The carefully selected furniture enhances both flexibility and comfort, ensuring the office thrives as an effective and collaborative workspace for staff.
