NSW Rugby League Centre for Excellence
A dynamic space designed to support performance and collaboration
The new Rugby League Centre for Excellence at Olympic Park required a functional and flexible space to support the NSW Rugby League (NSWRL), Country Rugby League (CRL), referees, and state teams. The design aimed to create versatile environments that could support a range of activities, from player lounges and meeting rooms to administrative and event spaces.
The challenge was to create a multi-use space that could accommodate a variety of functions, including team activities, meetings, events, and administrative tasks, all while ensuring flexibility, comfort, and functionality across diverse spaces.
TCW was selected by Populous and ADCO for our ability to provide adaptable, collaborative furniture solutions that enhance functionality and support the performance-driven environment of the Centre. In the players’ breakout lounge and main reception, we supplied tub chairs, bar stools, sofas, I.AM tables, and Cheese on Toast side tables to promote comfort and collaboration. Scenic meeting rooms featured EONA boardroom tables and Cron Sport chairs, while the amphitheatre was outfitted with elegant Audit 10 seating with writing tablets in NSW’s signature blue. For the administrative and breakout areas, we sourced Vital Plus workstations, Stay chairs, and Spacio seating from Actiu, ensuring the spaces encouraged productivity and teamwork.
The Centre now offers a cohesive and dynamic space that supports both high-performance activities and everyday operations. The furniture solutions provided by TCW meet the needs of diverse functions while contributing to an environment where players, staff, and visitors can thrive and collaborate effectively.
