Doga
Doga takes its name from the Italian word for a barrel stave: the back and seat are made of horizontal slats that curve around the body, moulded in one piece from UV-stabilised fibreglass-reinforced polypropylene. Raffaello Galiotto designed it for Nardi as a side chair, an armchair and a high stool, all stackable. The slatted form sheds water quickly and dries fast, the colour runs through the resin, and the finish is matt with non-slip feet. It works well on terraces, rooftops and pool decks where a softer, more residential look is wanted. A matching low side table is listed separately. Made in Italy. Nardi's safety sheet for the stool states it is tested to EN 581-1 and EN 581-2 for a 200 kg load.
