Gen-X
Gen-X is built around a robot-welded splay leg in 30 × 70mm tube, which gives the frame its A-shaped stance and lets a run of desks carry its own length without a mid-span leg in the knee space. The same frame makes a single desk, a back-to-back pair, a longer bench for four, six or eight, and an L-shaped return for a manager. Tops are 25mm commercial-grade board in laminate or veneer, with a scalloped cutout for power and an under-desk cable tidy running the length of the frame. Power, data and USB modules mount above or below the top, so a bench can be wired from the floor or from a ceiling drop without changing the frame. Screens are the part most often specified: Perspex or 12mm PET clamp screens, fabric-wrapped OXO screens with a tapered profile and rounded corners, or Slimline III aluminium-framed screens with a function rail that takes shelves and paper trays. Frames come in white or black powder coat as standard, or a specified colour. The range extends past desking into meeting, breakout and kitchen tables on the same leg, so a floor can be furnished from one frame family. Backed by a ten-year warranty.
