Web
Web is a light, highly stackable chair for training rooms, meeting spaces and anywhere seating has to be cleared away at the end of the day. Designed by Giancarlo Bisaglia, it pairs a polypropylene seat and a glass-fibre reinforced back with a slim sled frame of 11 mm steel rod, in chrome or in white or black embossed powder coat. It stacks ten high, or 45 on an inclined trolley. It comes two ways: with a plastic back, or with a black mesh back that breathes on longer sits. The seat, or the seat and back on the plastic version, can be upholstered in fabric by selection. Armrests are an option, balanced so the chair hangs level when upturned onto a table edge for cleaning; a writing tablet, a book basket and row connectors turn it into a training-room or auditorium seat. A matching stool comes in two seat heights. On request the shell can be made in recycled post-consumer plastic (medium grey, certified Plastica Seconda Vita), or fire-retardant for agreed quantities.
