F-1 Parasol

Anchors are ordered separately. Fixing the parasol down — into the ground or onto a slab, which are as strong as each other — takes the most wind and is the more affordable way to do it: the anchor is small and the ground does the work. A free-standing anchor costs more because the weight is the anchor.

Stainless steel surface anchor Bolts onto an existing slab on 8 drop-in anchors — no coring, but the holes are drilled. So the anchor can be moved without lifting it. An Aluma-Crete takes Tuff Wheels built in, a round G-Plate sits on a wheel tray, and a square G-Plate gets four braked castors.

Tuuci don't recommend leaving this parasol open above 72 km/h with a Tuuci in-ground anchoring system, and strongly recommend an in-ground mount wherever winds above 48 km/h are expected. Suggested weights are Tuuci's own, for free-standing parasols in reasonable conditions, and are not a warranty or guarantee — see Wind ratings & conditions above. Anchors come in Marine Silver as standard, with the powder coats included.
