Anchors are ordered separately. Fixing the parasol down — into the ground or onto a slab, which are as strong as each other — takes the most wind and is the more affordable way to do it: the anchor is small and the ground does the work. A free-standing anchor costs more because the weight is the anchor.

In-ground security mount Cast into new concrete; only the security stem shows, and nothing at all once the stem is lifted out.

Stainless steel surface anchor Bolts onto an existing slab on 8 drop-in anchors — no coring, but the holes are drilled. Needs 4,000 psi concrete at least 100 mm deep.

So the anchor can be moved without lifting it. An Aluma-Crete takes Tuff Wheels built in, a round G-Plate sits on a wheel tray, and a square G-Plate gets four braked castors.
