Celebrating 40 Years with a Warm, Modern Workspace

Bakers Delight’s refurbished head office in Camberwell marks the company’s 40 years of success with a warm, inviting space that reflects its family-oriented culture and rich history. Completed during COVID lockdowns, the project adhered to strict government guidelines while ensuring the new design supports collaboration, well-being, and functionality.

Challenge

The goal was to transform the original space into a functional, collaborative workspace that balances modern design with nods to traditional bakeries. This was achieved through the use of timber hues, gold accents, sage tones, and biophilic elements that create a natural, comfortable atmosphere.

Solution

TCW supplied and installed 163 Markant MOX Workstations, 29 Thinking Works I AM Tables, 10 Noom Reception Chairs, 78 Tambour Door Cabinets, and additional custom furniture to meet the unique requirements of the project. The design incorporates sustainability, durability, and adaptable furniture to ensure long-term comfort and practicality in the workplace.

Results

The redesigned office space blends functionality with heritage, fostering collaboration and a sense of connection. It celebrates Bakers Delight’s legacy while ensuring the team is equipped to thrive in an environment that supports both individual productivity and collective innovation.
