A Historic Transformation: Brown-Forman’s New Sydney Workplace Blends Heritage with Modern Sophistication
Brown-Forman’s new Sydney office celebrates the company’s rich legacy in the hospitality industry, transforming two historic buildings in Surry Hills into a vibrant, modern workspace. The project aimed to create a flexible and functional environment that honors the client’s heritage while reflecting the dynamic energy of the area, ensuring that both the space and its occupants thrive.
Adapt two historic buildings into a sophisticated office space that balances modern work needs with the aesthetic of the building’s original architecture, while fostering a sense of connection, well-being, and functionality for employees and visitors.
TCW provided a turn-key solution for all furniture in client-facing spaces, including reception areas, meeting rooms, and a bar and entertaining space. Collaborating closely with the designer, TCW sourced furniture that complemented the industrial chic design, featuring exposed brickwork, timber, and copper metallic finishes. The furniture selection supports a flexible, functional environment, with pieces that enhance collaboration and allow employees to feel at ease, both in formal and informal settings.
The transformed Brown-Forman office captures the essence of Surry Hills, blending heritage with modern design elements that foster a sense of community and connection. The space offers flexibility, elegance, and a strong sense of arrival, providing employees and guests with an environment where they can thrive and feel inspired. This workspace aligns with Brown-Forman’s premium image and supports the company’s mission of creating meaningful, dynamic experiences.
