Located at Macquarie University’s North Ryde campus, the Engineering and Innovation Building was designed to create a future-focused environment that supports teaching, research, collaboration, and innovation. Delivered by FDC Construction & Fitout in partnership with Woods Bagot, the project required a comprehensive furniture solution that would seamlessly integrate with the building’s contemporary architecture while accommodating the diverse needs of students, academics, and researchers.
The project called for the supply and installation of a complete furniture package across a wide range of learning, collaboration, meeting, and social spaces. The brief required a cohesive design language throughout the building, balancing functionality, durability, ergonomics, and aesthetics, while remaining within budget parameters and meeting the demanding construction programme.
Working closely with FDC and the project team, TCW curated and delivered an integrated furniture solution that enhanced the user experience while supporting the architectural vision of the space.
