Perkins Building, Cranbrook School
A Historic Building Reborn: The Perkins Building Becomes a World-Class Music Facility at Cranbrook School
Cranbrook School’s historic Perkins Building, dating back to 1919, has been transformed into a state-of-the-art Music Facility. The project aimed to create an inspiring, functional space that nurtures creativity and academic excellence, while preserving the building’s heritage and legacy. The new space fosters an environment where students and staff can thrive, with flexible and durable design solutions that meet contemporary educational needs.
To convert the Perkins Building into a modern Music Facility that supported both students and teaching staff, while preserving the building’s historic character and ensuring the space functioned effectively for diverse learning styles.
